We can lead a new idea from the start, shape something less conventional or improve an existing site where its structure, design, content, functionality or performance need attention.
02Do you only work with businesses in Cornwall and Devon?
No. Stormy Studios is based in Pelynt, near Looe, and works with businesses throughout Cornwall and Devon, as well as clients across the UK. Local meetings are available when useful, with a simple remote process for projects further afield.
03How much does a website cost?
There is no one-size-fits-all package. Cost depends on scope, content and functionality. We do not set an entry-level price. Tell us the budget you are working with and we will be straightforward about what can be achieved for that figure. After an initial conversation, we provide a clear estimate and recommend what is genuinely needed, with later changes discussed before they become extra work.
04How long does a project take?
Timing depends on scope, content readiness and feedback. We agree a realistic schedule before work starts and can phase more involved projects so progress stays clear and manageable.
05Will we be able to update the website ourselves?
Yes, where regular updates are needed. We choose and configure the content management system around the content and the people using it, so day-to-day editing feels straightforward without compromising structure or performance.
06Who owns the website, domain names and designs when the project is complete?
Once the project has been paid for, our clients own the completed website and all agreed project deliverables. We do not lock clients into Stormy Studios’ services, so they are free to appoint another company to work on the site at any time. Wherever practical, we encourage clients to register domains, hosting and other key services in their own name, then we show them how to add Stormy Studios as an administrator. That keeps ownership and control where they belong: with the client.
07What happens after the website launches?
Launch includes final checks and handover. Hosting, security, maintenance, performance monitoring and ongoing improvements can then be handled through a care plan, while core accounts and project assets remain under your control.
